In a sense, growing up in South Carolina automatically molds an individual into an outdoorsman.  This is extremely evident in Brad.

From the first largemouth he caught in his parents backyard (age 6) until today, he has been in love with fishing, hunting, camping and experiencing all that God's earth has to offer.  So much so, in fact, that upon reaching adulthood he set out to make the outdoors his life.

In his pursuit of this quest, Brad has been the owner of a technical fly and light tackle shop in Charleston, SC, covered the southeast as a manufacturer's representative in the fly fishing industry, hosted a weekly fishing report on radio (WTMA Charleston), traveled extensively while providing booking services to hunting and fishing lodges throughout the world and presently works as a freelance writer for numerous publications and websites.  He also enjoys teaching the sport of fly fishing to anyone wanting to learn.

Brad has been featured numerous times on outdoors television programming shown on OLN (now Versus) and ESPN.  He has served in an advisory capacity or as a pro staff member for a number of outdoors related manufacturers including such names as Mercury Marine (Saltwater Team), Champion Boats, TFO, BackCountry Boats and Hell's Bay Boatworks to name a few.

His passions include roaming the woods of his home state as well as those out west in pursuit of both wild turkey and big game, stalking the flats of the Bahamas, Mexico and Belize for bonefish, tarpon or permit and working the rivers of Wyoming, Colorado and Alaska for trout or salmon.
